Our students and staff are desperately in need of school supplies. Our organization always appreciates the generosity and involvement of people like you, with every contribution going towards making Centro Educativo para Sordos Las Voces del Silencio (LAVOSI) an even better nonprofit organization than it already is. We want to provide you with the correct and appropriate information pertaining to your mode of support, so don’t hesitate to contact us with your questions.

TAX-DEDUCTIBLE DONATIONS ARE ACCEPTED VIA INTERNATIONAL DEAF PARTNERSHIPS WHICH IS A 501(c)3 PURSUANT THE REGULATIONS SET FORTH BY THE UNITED STATES INTERNAL REVENUE SERVICE.

Registration and Tuition

Registration includes application processing, interviewing, and first day meal. Tuition will cover new uniforms, school supplies, and stuff.

Help pay for teacher salary

This cost will provide funds to cover the ANNUAL SALARY of an instructor in our school.

Daily Transportation 

This cost is based on where the student lives and how far will the student travel to/from school.

School Supplies and Maintenance

This cost will provide funds to cover the annual cost of providing school supplies.

LAVOSI has changed the lives of all our students since 2010.

LAVOSI is a non-profit association established in Jocotenango, Sacatepéquez, Guatemala. LAVOSI means "Las Voces del Silencio" which translates to "The Voices of Silence". Which main goal is to improve the lives of Deaf children and youth in Guatemala.

LAVOSI provides an inclusive and fully accessible school environment the promotes academic learning, social development, job readiness, dignity, and acceptance as Deaf individuals.

​

The school was founded by Álvaro Ernesto De León Espinoza. Through my hard work determination and the help of LAVOSI´s team, we created a unique school that empowers Deaf children and youth to face their future with a sense of hope and optimism.
